FRAGMENTS
Fragments is a bi-lingual, pluridisciplinary theatre piece adapted by OBRA from Roland Barthes’ socio-philosophical text ‘The Lover’s Discourse’. Performed in English and French by one male and one female; part confession, part joke, tender and violent, the performance serves as an immersion into our most intangible emotional state; to be in love.
Fragments performed in France at CIRCa, Auch, Lussac Les Chateaux, Theatre du Grand Rond and as part of Region en Scene in 2018 and at Sala Baratza in Vitoria Gasteiz, Spain.
Fragments was developed in residence at CIRCa Auch and the Au Brana Centre in France with financial support from the Gers department and Occitan Region.
